Alveo freezing in Asian Session

Hi everybody, I've had Alveo freezing constantly or being very, very, very slow these past three days during the Asian session.  It can take up to 10 mins or more to change charts! Magically it speeded up in late evening (the mid-London session and just before the US session).  Do they throttle back during US night?  Is anyone else having similar problems or is it my system? I can run FXCM and MT4 perfectly okay.  Allen.

Alveo is sluggish throughout for me. Every time it gets slow and unresponsive, I've noticed that it's using over 20% of CPU time. Restarting Alveo seems to be the best solution. At times, I've had to kill it from the Task Manager because it simply wouldn't respond.

After restarting, the period of time it runs decently seems to vary quite a bit. Methinks it's because Alveo isn't properly releasing memory/CPU resources it's using, based on the symptoms.

Now isn't this unusual, mine has been lightning fast since about 9 eastern time. Hope it improves for y'all.

Pouring coffee on keyboard doesn't help :-(

Thanks - its good to know I'm not alone.

I've just signed up to a VPN service called Speedify which seems to have improved the Alveo response times. It's still slow but it's seems much more manageable now. It might be a coincidence but it improved immediately after the Speedify installation.
If I continue to get better response times during the day I'll let you know. BTW I've used Speedify before and it was a good piece of software together with Connectify (a WiFi host) but I let it lapse when I finally started using my own WiFi. It's quite reasonably priced right now at about discounted US$50 (I am not associated with this company).

Hi you all, over here Alveo is disconnected to the server we're getting quotes from. Any one else in Europe having this problem?
Hope to be up and running quickly before Mr. Draghi will be speaking.

Happy trading today :-)

I've had some good uptime this pm, so I'm hoping the new VPN service has made a difference. I'll try with and without the VPN tomorrow to see if it really is helping and will advise the outcome.

I'm in Australia and Alveo seems to be working fine although I've nothing to trade right now.

It is no better this am. If anything it is worse.

Same here, still very sluggish. I can 1 to 1 1/2 minutes where nothing moves and then a sudden burst of data flows through. Then right back to 1 to 1 1/2 minutes of nothing. If changing from chart to chart it is more than 2 minutes or more to swap pages. The platform has a performance issue.

So glad that I upgraded my Comcast account, haven't really noticed the problems recently seems to be fast for me. Sorry I know how frustrating it can be when trading under those conditions.

However, it's not my pc or internet. I ran speed test and it is normal broadband 60 which is fast. Cleared my cache and system. Restarted Alveo and still very sluggish. It is with out question the platform. I started other trading systems and no issues at all.
So, it is not my pc or internet.
