Yes, server is not connecting...aka dead to us. I've been trying for 4 hours.
how to make a pip....server has to be up for one!!!!! this happens a lot.
If you look at the system status it says
1. ALL SYSTEM ARE UP.
2. IT ALSO SAYS NO INCIDENTS REPORTED.
DON'T YOU CALL THIS AN INCIDENT??? AND LAST SUNDAY TOO!
hours for calling on phone says mon-fri with last call in time friday is 3pm mountain time.
108 is unavailable cannot leave voice mail.
It appears NO ONE is on call for the server. So we wait till Monday??????
Someone could reset server remotely...even.

Well, Alveo is down.

I think there should be a way to notify Bees of Alveo downtime. That way we don't keep wondering what is going on with the software.

Hi Guys, Down here too. Looks like the server slept in after the weekend. Surprise there's no alarm system to warn someone. Been using Trading View platform to map where my USDJPY hedge trade should be. It's well in profit and I'd sure like to close it out.

This is really kind of embarrassing for the Apiary Fund IMO. Shows that nobody is taking this seriously. There should be someone on call every hour the market is open. There is no way I would let a server be down like this for, what's it now? 5 hours? Ridiculous.

Should be on call network person to fix server issues. Mon-Friday, business hours is not going to be good for funded accounts.

I've opened a trouble ticket. If I may make a suggestion, everyone who is affected ought to open one. That way, they'll get an idea of how many traders were attempting to trade and weren't able to do so. Not everyone trades Sunday evenings.

I would think a back up server would be ideal for Alveo. Also, tech should be available any time the market is open to fix or switch servers. We pay for the service. My Meta free account is running smoothly and my live Forex.com is operating as expected. I too opened a ticket on the issue.
Please do as AK and I have and open a ticket.

Man, this server is killing me...gonna miss the bear moves over night on the EURNZD, GBPAUD, and GBPCHF if we don't get this resolved soon. Texas having issues as well.

I GOT KICKED OUT OF ALVEO JUST BEFORE 8 PM PACIFIC TIME WHICH WAS OVER AN HOUR AGO.
CALLING THE SUPPORT NUMBER JUST GIVES YOU A RUN AROUND, CAN NOT EVEN LEAVE A MESSAGE.
SENT A COUPLE OF EMAILS STATING THAT WHEN THE MARKET IS OPEN AND AFTER REGULAR HOURS, THERE NEEDS TO BE A NUMBER TO CALL AND A WARM BODY READY TO FIX THE PROBLEM. I HAVE TRADES GOING ON AND HOPE THEY ARE IN MY FAVOR AFTER AN HOUR AND HALF.
SHOWS THE LACK OF ATTENTION AND SUPPORT TO THE TRADERS WHO ARE MAKING THE MONEY FOR THEM. OH WELL THEY CAN ALWAYS GO BACK TO TAKING SHAWNS MONEY AGAIN, IF THERE IS ENOUGH TO COVER A POTENTIAL KILLING.
JUST WHO IS SUPPORTING US OUT HERE IN THE FIELD?

I'M NOT VERY PLEASED WITH THIS LACK OF SERVICE AND CONTACT NUMBER. THIS HAS TO CHANGE.

Ok, so apparently if the server is down overnight on Sunday, we have to wait until Monday morning when tech support arrives in the office to fix server issues? This is not acceptable for a platform we are paying a monthly fee for. I really like the approach Apiary is taking on educating us to possibly become traders of fund money. However, I also understand that I have paid in to the fund a considerable amount of money and the longer the server has issues with no one staffing to fix, the more I end up paying. By the time most of us that do get funded get to the first level of funding of $1,000, we have paid more in to the fund. This is very frustrating and leads me to feel some bit of illegitimacy to the whole deal.

I see at the bottom of this page that "System Status" is green and clicking on it shows me this information:

I've two accounts, and I've just noticed that one of them which has been logged in since last week is operational, however I haven't been able to get into my funded account all day, and we have missed the Asian session and now the European open. Maybe that would explain why system status is reporting some sessions. Bottom line though is this is very poor - Apiaryfund is big enough to have someone monitoring their systems (and this message board) whenever the market is open. It's not like this is a once off occurrence.

I don't understand how you can have a 24 hour trading desk without 24 hour support. I am in IT and have never heard of that. Support should follow the market hours of operation. If the market opens at 5 on Sunday and closes at 5 on Friday there should be support available

You should be able to close positions using the Alveo app on your phone. That's all it's good for, along with viewing your statistics!

Yep - many times I'm afraid - but I understand it's because Alveo is a platform developed from scratch by the Apiary team, rather than using the platform from an established broker.

It appears there is a partial outage. I am not able to get for the past 11 hours, but from the acheivement broadcast on the user's pate, it appears there are people who are working in alveo and crossing to the next higher level. I had sent a msg also in the morning as to whether there is any network problem. May be, today, after coming to office, somebody will look into it and correct.

I'm hoping that at some point they will also have app that will give us an opportunity to trade from mobile devices. Maybe this will kickstart them. I would love to be able to make trades from my phone, ipad, and chromebook.

This hasn't happened to me in awhile but it has happened a couple of times and I had trades going then and it was a frantic, helpless feeling so I can understand why some folks are upset. I just find it unfortunate that when every other site is down I think something must be wrong with my computer, but when Alveo is down I immediately know it's Alveo's problem.

Well, at least I know it's not just me.
I've been trying off and on since 5pm eastern time 10/07/2018, and I put in a help ticket.
It's now 7:50am eastern time (10/08/2018), and the server is still not working.

I know it's Columbus Day in the USA, but I also know that Alveo is usually available on holidays.

After Alveo was up, all my trades went down south causing my account to reach over my 5% risk to 13%! I was hoping to close those were positive yesterday, but the system was locked.

IRRESPONSIBLE AND OUTRIGHT WRONG!

I sent a message to tech support last week about TP's not executing before I even saw this thread. Right now I'm still sitting in multiple positions that should have been EXECUTED for a profit almost half an hour ago! Instead many of them are in the negative now. That's not the only issue. The function keys for closing all positions (and I guess a few more) DON'T WORK! And by the way, who's bright idea was it to do SYSTEM MAINTENANCE from 5:00 PM ET to 5:06 PM ET when we ET folks are still trading?!?

Shawn Lucas do you know this is happening? Does anyone, aside from the tech team?

I get user auth failed . Alveo worked for me this morning for 15 min and I was able to move all my SL into profit as I had a great night of overnight holds. I hope they trigger when they are supposed to if need be

@Pip gatherer-PG, did you reboot yet? if so try and uninstall Alveo and reinstall or just load the Beta version and try that. perhaps you will get connected to a different server.

but i do try to log out and log in again
and it seems to go back to normal again
