EMA Crossover

EMA Crossover Strategy

H1 Chart
Exponential Moving Average 7
Exponential Moving Average 16
RSI 14, add 50 level
Stochastic 5, 3, 3, add 50 level

Sell Signal
EMA 7 crosses EMA 16 in a downward direction. RSI is just below 50 level moving in a downward direction. Stochastic is moving down below 50 range. The candle where the EMAs crossed must close below the EMAs. After the closing of the candle place a sell trade with a take profit of 50 pips. Stop loss will be the high of the EMA cross candle.

Buy Signal
EMA 7 crosses EMA 16 in an upward direction. RSI is above 50 level moving in an upward direction. Stochastic is moving up above 50 range. The candle where the EMAs crossed must close above the EMAs. After the closing of the candle place a buy trade with a take profit of 50 pips. Stop loss will be the low of the EMA cross candle.

Seems simple and complicated at the same time...lol. Have you had much success with this? Or is this a strategy you just started?

So far I've had a 70% win rate on this strategy and it is a strategy that I just implemented. I do focus on pairs that are particularly changing in trend for more effective results. As time goes by this strategy may change so that it is more fine tuned but for right now I am getting success with it.

simple, easy to understand, nice share.

can you share the number of trades have you taken using this setup?

how the expectancy?

My Gold-I Strategy that I used, and will continue in Gold-II:

Apiary Pivots
HMA (8, 13, 21)
M-15 Chart (Same Pair)
H-1 Chart (Same Pair)

Take Profit 20 Pips
Trailing Stop 15 Pips

Entry and Exit are the same, except opposite, When HMA 8 crosses HMA 13, on M-15 Chart is my signal to wait for the next Candle, and Confirm Signal on H-1 Chart. If next candle is heading the direction you are looking for and HMA 13 follows HMA 8 is the entry point. I will flip back and forth while I'm watching the trade I will flip back and forth between M-15 and H-1 charts until I exit. Exit is the exact same just the opposite direction without waiting for the confirmation candle.

If there is anything that you may need clarification on feel free to message me.

Good Luck Trading Bees!

"and will continue in Gold-II" ...finally, i'm a bit confused by the many gold posts that are still experimenting and or looking for a new setup.

grady, do you trade one or two pairs or any?

Burton,
Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, but I tend to pick EUR/USD and USD/JPY based on the spread, Apiary fund has us spoiled with the "industries" spreads vice the "consumer" spreads.
