Silver II - 4th Down Conversion, 3rd Down Conversion, and 10 Pip Rush

Hi Bees,

Can you, please, advise me how to complete these achievements? It seems impossible to me. 10 winning trades in a row (no losing trade in between) is already difficult but never to have even a potential loss more than 3 pips!! I always left some room for a trade to evolve and place my S/L at at least -20pips. I think I'll be there several months before completing this achievement. Any tools?... please.

Thank you, have a great day and happy trading!

Use microlots, place 10 trades at a time. Set your SL at 3. If it hits your SL, start over. You don't have to win very much either. Just enough to cover your spread and commission and a little profit

neilm4247

I might have mislead you earlier. If you need to make a certain number of pips the same method will work. Eventually you will hit your target before going back 3 pips. Using microlots keeps your losses small.

Charles Moeller

Yes, micro lots is key.

About 10 winning trades. If you could jump on a run, even a small one of 5 pips or so. You may have time to pull that trigger 10 or 11 times. If the run wins, you make ten good ones--and quickly!

Happy and prosperous trading!

Hi alouash!
Just for you to know, they consider Silver II the most difficult stage... It was stated at the Summit.
BUT I MADE IT IN 2 DAYS.
Here is the method:
1. Open the One-click trade panel
2. put 0.01 pips lot size in it
3. put 1 pip TP
4. OPTIONAL (if you like SL, put 100) -- actually NONE of them will hit because they will all win
5. Find a good trend (15 min 5 min and then 1 min -- all in one direction)
6. Click 15-20 times the trade in a second, down, confirm, down confirm down confirm down confirm... (or up. confirm)

You will be done in 5 minutes with 20 trades ALL WIN -- no LOSS.

Have fun!

I conquer with what has been said above: once you find a trading opportunity, open about 20 micro lots (o.oo1 - that will affect your number of pips, but not significantly impact your daily risk), leave a little room, then take them off as soon as they reach your needed pips.

Suggestion: 20 pips seem like a lot to me, for stop loss.
Also, until you reach Gold 1 and 2, don't worry too much about losing / winning on your account ... just learn at your pace and hit those requirements to pass the silver levels.

aleini13

20 WINS 0 LOSSES -- guaranteed.

Million a Month (MAM) Club.

Did I mention this?
See above.
Please, let me know how it worked because we want to make the process of winning ------ automatic.
Also, if you know somebody who knows programming, let them know that we need them.

alouash

OK. thanks a lot for your help. I am going to try it and let you know.

alouash

Waw, Andrei, your curves don't look bad at all:-) I just opened the attachement and it looks pretty impressive.

alouash

Yeah!! Your advice helped. I struggled for about 30 mins but I fulfilled all the 3 achievements at once. I traded on M5 and opened 10 trades at the same time trading micro lots. S/L 4pips (includung spread) + T/P 2 pips (1 showed up to be too small), like neilm4247 said. At the beginning, I didn't open the 10 at once and this is why it took me some time. But I've got it!!! THANKS A LOT! (Also it helps to feel supported).

By the way, what is the MAM club, aleini13? Something designed for us to become too emotional and dreamingful and stop taking care of our trades? ;-)

Sherry

I think that I misunderstood the 10 pip rush. I thought each trade had to be 10 pips. I lost a lot of pips today trying to accomplish this. I wish I had more time today to try again! Thanks for starting this thread alouash, and thank you everyone for your comments. I will be back at it next week trying your suggestions. Have a great Labor Day weekend!

Glad to see this topic! I have no idea what '4th Down Conversion, 3rd Down Conversion, 10 pip Rush' means! I haven't come across anything like this in any of the training studies.

jldavid

I was able to complete 3rd and 4th down conversion rather easily by setting up 10 bullish breakout trades on the USDJPY. Gave wach a TP of 2 pips and a SL of 2.7 pips. I was filled on the TP within 30 seconds of the break to the upside on all 10. Didn't get me the 10 pip rush as those trades apparently need to be 10 pips each.

PHD88

aleini13 very useful approach. Automatically entering 10 trades rapidly when a trend has become optimized (by a criteria) would be HUGE. Walk away from computer and come back and trades have happened.

I will go to your MAM club and get in...
Thanks, Phil Dickson

Sherry

I think that I finally understand the criteria for the 10 pip rush. Each trade does need to be at least 10 pips, and the market can't go against each trade individually more than 5 pips. They don't need to be accomplished in a row or even on the same day. I am starting to conquer this assignment. It may take a while though. Good luck everyone, and congratulations to everyone who has moved on!

sylvia.c.morris

I used Andrei's (aleini13) strategy and got 4th Down Conversion, 3rd Down Conversion and 10 Pip Rush all done in about an house last night! :)!!! The '5 Recovery Profit Trades' did me in and I busted the 5% risk so I have to sit out today and regroup.

jldavid

Andrei's strategy helped me as well. I've been able to complete all of the trading tasks except "Make 50 pips in one trade", "Place100 trades" and "5 Days with 5 Trades". The last one will be the last thing to get done and I should be able to "graduate" to Silver III early next week as long as I keep my wits about me.

delina.jr

Thanks aleini13 for your tip above. I wasn't sure how to tackle these tasks in silver II, but your advise helped! I have finished them now. :)

caveman

jumping in on the aleini13 thank you bandwagon your method got me thru as well.

Thanks Much

alexanderfalz

Thanks for the explanations in this thread. I did not understand the task at hand before I read this.
Afterwards it took me literally just 5 minutes to complete.
Maybe they made the task a little unclear on purpose, so we would scour the forum for answers?
Anyway, thank you :-)

pjdoucet44

Hi aleini13,

I tried your system and in 10 minutes I achieved the 3rd and 4th down conversion.

Thanks for your help

tradertool

I completed 3rd down conversion, 4th down conversion, and 10 pip rush on the same day. Use 1M or 5M chart. Draw support and resistance levels near the current price level: two support lines, and two resistance lines. Place 10 limit orders to short at the two resistance levels and 10 limit orders to go long at two support levels. For all orders, place a 3 pip SL and 11 pips take profit.

I had two straight loss before the third trade finally worked. If the first level did not work setup third level. One of the levels will work. You may want to separate conversion trades from 10 pip rush if you do not have a confidence or keeps on stopping out. Make sure to use a Micro-lot, 0.01 size. It is much easier to complete 3rd and 4th down conversion trades as it only needs to move 1 pip. One pip should be enough to cover commission and the spread if you trade EURUSD.

By placing 10 separate limit orders, you get to complete 5 Recovery Trades, 5 Recovery Profit Trades, Make 10 Pips on a Trade Open For At Least 5 Minutes, 10 Trade Winning Streak, Emotitag 10 Trades, 4th Down Conversion, 3rd Down Conversion, and 10 Pip Rush.

My next trade will be three same trades off of 1H or 4H EURUSD chart. Take profit 51 pips and 19pips SL. If this works, it will complete Place 3 Trades with more than 20 Pips, Make 50 Pips on 1 Trade, and Bee up 100 pips in 1 Day. That will leave me with a 5 Days with 5 Trades requirement.

tradetracker68

Just completed Silver 1 and saw this thread. Thanks for all the great ideas.

Pips for Profit

Thanks so much for your comments. I think in my mind I was making it sound harder than it really is. I also just completed Silver 1 and needed a game plan. Now I have it. Thanks again everyone!!

Adol

Andrei,

I am going to try your method, I am still stuck at 5 days ,5 Trades with winning results for all trades. Thanks a bunch

Polecheck

I just got into the Silver II yesterday and it looks like a real chore. I will try Aleini13 method for the conversions and 10 pip. Anyone have help to do the Silver II chores, I'd really appreciate it.

cynth71

I just finished silver II, If you get the 4th down conversion you will also get the 3rd. I used the GBP/JPY because it is a faster moving chart. Wait for your signal and enter 10 trades with a mico lots. The five days was also difficult but a good lesson, the only advice I have for this one is to always have a back up plan - If I am going long I set a sell stop at my stop loss to minimize or overcome my loss.

obee1

I just finished the 10 pip rush using the GBP/AUD pair. It is currently in a bullish move and I used the 5 minute chart and BB (10,2). Waited for price to go down to the lower BB and entered 10 trades.

I had to repeat the process because 1 entry was above the lower BB and priced moved more than 5 pips against it. Repeated the process and closed all 20 trades with more than 10 pips each.

Hope this helps another Bee.

Will be using this method alieni13, to smash the 3rd and 4th down conversion challenges on Silver 11.

Thanks for the share!!! :)

paulbode1959

Thanks guys, these are very helpfull suggestions. I just started on this challenge. I was using the 5 mins chart to place trades when I saw strong movements. I hit 10 winning trades in pips, but now noticed that on some of those the profit is actually slightly negative, so that probably won't count. I like the suggestion of finding a strong move on one currency pair and then put 10-15 trades on that one. Iam going to give it a try.

paulbode1959

Did it!! Looked for a MA10-MA20 crossover on 5 minute chart. Had a bullish candle crossing the MAs, followed by a next bullish candle (i.e. candle closes in upper 25%), entered a batch of 15 trades, then it started to retrace, entered a new batch at the next candle, retrace continued (by now the first batch had gone over 4 pips loss and I closed it), entered another batch when it reached the MA10, then the rebounce started and I won the full third batch and partially the second all within less than 3 pips potential loss during the trade. This time I made sure that the trades were positive not only in pips but also in actual profit and before closing leaving a buffer as it takes a few secs to close and need to maeke sure that it does not fall under -0- during that time.

With this I hit the 4 conversion, 3 conversion and 10 winning trades in a row in one single go!!!!

cj18

I'm so glad I came up with this trade! I thought I was going to be spending several days to finish 3rd and 4rd conversion. Took me less than 5 minutes with aleini13 method. :)

johngager

Thanks all of you sharing your ideas on this post, really helped me fly through Silver 2 far quicker than I anticipated. Just need the 50 pip win and I'll be into Silver 3.

Michelle

Thank you for sharing, I am finding silver two to be very difficult. All the good advice is helpful.

Jeffs-Trading

Silver II is probably the most difficult and challenging level. These challenges do force you to look at more different strategies and get you to thinking about other strategies. I believe most folks approach trading Forex in the beginning as wanting to be scalpers, but Silver II pushes you to think of other strategies.
Stick with it and look at it as an educating opportunity.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL......

mike_smith

@alouash

"...I always left some room for a trade to evolve and place my S/L at at least -20pips. "

That's why you're still trying to earn real money. I think beeline should be loaded everywhere even for funded traders for the never lose more than 3 pips or 5 pips tasks. That task helped me the most as a trader.

bbanks01

For the be up by 100 pips is this closed pips for the day?

Rookie

So here is my deal for the 100 PIPS, I also must have a minimum of .05% but my target is 1%. Equity.
My optimum is 100 Pips 1% Equity and $5.00 expectancy for the day useing my Laid-Back scalping without over trading because I let a loser run.

jrrkkh

Rookie:

How often do you make your goals? It seems for me I have to many consecutive bad days.

Rookie

100 PIPS no issue the last few weeks, at least .5% Equity mostly, 1% equity not so much, the $5.00 not so much.
So when I'm not screwing up I'm trying to make 10 Pip trades instead of 5 PIP trades and use better sizing.

richard.g.higgi...

Completed the 3rd and 4th down conversions following @aleini13 strategy in 30 minutes. It also took out the recovery trades, as I had a small loss before I entered the 15 trades. I had to do a separate set of 15 trades to complete the 10 PIP push. So far, I have completed everything in Silver II except 5 profitable days with 5 trades in only a day.

Thanks all for the explanations in this thread.

Rookie

@jrkkh, it is so much more than setting a goal and readjusting that goal for me it didn't click until my analytical brain started to learn who I am, how do we really make decisions and how of why we decided what we do.

you wrote "How often do you make your goals? It seems for me I have too many consecutive bad days."

So here is the real deal which I'm sure you have heard a zillion times around here.

It's not really about the strategy, it is about what's in your heart and mind, the psychology of trading is in your sub-conscience.

Most will never become traders because they will not de enough postmortem analysis to understand what to fix in the trading methodology and subsequently their subconscious beliefs.

It is much more than just a strategy.

Here is an example, I write weekly in the DXY thread. This week on Tuesday for traders to be where then again on Wednesday I reinforced that notions with caution warning. And yet knowing it was going to happen and why was not enough to save me from my self so on both days to simply trade what I see and not causing my only losses this month and what grand losses they were.

To that, I have done the postmortem trade analysis and examined the psychology of why did I di that, what was the basis of the decisions that caused a losing mindset for those two sessions and why when I watched it happen did I not just stop it, grasp what was really occurring and and correct my trading.

kiranpatel42

Andriel, I liked your method for 3rd and 4th down and tried it and done in around 5 min. Thanks for the information.

vincewalla

Hi aleini13,

Thank you so much for the 3/4th down conversion strategy. I was not sure how I would accomplish this goal, so I came to the forums and found your post. I hit it today!

Thank you!!!
Vince

davehamilton

Aleini13, thank you from me as well on the conversion strategy. I guess I was misinterpreting the assignment. Did it your way and got all 3 done quickly. Helps to read before you try, I guess.
Dave

alexvk

@aleini13 How can you MAKE IT IN 2 DAYS if you have to be profitable for 5 day? Am I missing something? It took me a week for both silver I and II since there is a Saturday as well.

lennice.bolton

I'll be reading and mulling over these comments because me being a swing trader, these tasks are extremely difficult and I feel I hit a snag in the road with these tasks. @Alouash please share if what you've read has helped so far!!

lennice.bolton

I guess it helps to read through the comments! LOL. Mann, so trading with the 1 & 5 min charts? That's really alien for me. I will be doing that!! You guy are awesome!!

lah533p

Thanks so much, Andrei (aleini13). Such a fab strategy for quick in and outs and some pretty good pip counts at the end of it.

Layco

I'm going to advance to Silver II today and you guys have eased a lot of my concerns regarding what to do. I am so gratefyl forthe Forums and all the people who contribute their wisdom and humor!

Rookie

Layco, good for you.

vaclav.oros

Andrei's strategy worked perfect for me. Done 4th Down Conversion in less than hour watching a movie, in fact in only took a few minutes. Used similar strategy for recovery trades with 10 pips/trade

Dean053

Thank you, I was able to finish the conversions.

adedoyinadetunji

Hello, I did this on my simulated account and got more than 10 wins in a row but not in my silver account and it was not checked, does it mean this challenge must be done in the silver account?

All challenges must be performed in their respective account for credit.

Ronnie Rae

Just so I am clear, does the 10 pip rush have to be 10 pips for each 10 trades?

doug_8

Yes, Ronnie. The 10 pip rush requires 10 pip wins for each of the ten trades without it going 5 pips or more against it. Personally, I got lucky on a breakout and entered 10 trades but only 4 met the requirements. I will need to try again.

eytelinvestment

Hello everyone,
Everything is this chat was really good stuff. Just a clarification. For the 10 pip Rush, you need 10 trades that profit 10 pips and the trade retrace need to stay less than 5 pip or the trade doesn't count. This means that you trade can go below 5 pips anytime while the trade has been active. Ex. Let say you put on a TP 10 and SL 20. If the trade goes negative for 6 pip even though you haven't closed the trade does count. So you need to keep the trade lost equal to or above 5 as on all active trades while you at trying to complete the 10 pip Rush. For me to accomplish this I did 11 TP and SL4 on CAD/JPY on H1 chart. Looking for a reversal with more than 10 pip before support or resistances. Just my 2 cents.

Happy Trading,
Don

I'm working on the 10 pip Rush right now...thought I had it this morning caught a nice move, 5 trades at 0.01 lot size and a 10 pip TP. Only problem was that 2 of the trades got closed at 9.9 pips...

Second issue is that I'm not getting credit for the other 3. I had one before, so I should have 4 but I'm only getting credit for 2 total.

Last, and similar, issue is the Recovery Profit trades (5 trades in a row w/ 10 pips after a loss). The trade closed before this set was a loss so I should see some credit here. I have refreshed the Beeline tracker, but alas...I see nothing :(

Any advice?
JB

ToddnMT

I got the 4th down and 3rd down conversions using the method above. Thanks Aleini13! But it didnt give me credit for the 10 pip rush, twice now. Alveo was open the whole time but I switched to another window to work on something else. Is that the problem?

vicosobase

Can someone tell me what "Emotitag 10 Trades" means?

jude

Vicosobase, just click on the Smiley Icons at the bottom of the trade entry form when you make the trade. That is called an Emotitag...

You can also Right Click the trade in the trade status window to "Modify Order" and do this after you have entered the trade.

I have done all of Silver II, with the exception of the 10 Pip Rush... sigh...

crisostomoreynaldo

Thank you very very much, Andrei (aleini13) for the tip. Done with the task (3rd and 4th down conversion) but not the 10 pips rush.

Agren

Thanks for the tip, aleini13! I just passed off 3rd, 4th down, and 10 pip rush in less than 10 minutes!

justin.dejesus

Thanks for the tips, this was very helpful.

brian.e.zorn

Wow, great suggestions here! I just reached Silver 2 yesterday and was feeling a bit overwhelmed with the new task list. Spreads are a bit high right now so I came to post a question about 3rd/4th down conversion tasks and instead found this thread. Now my excitement is restored and I'm looking forward to Silver 2! Thanks Bees for contributing your wisdom to the hive!

Thanks for this info.

Thanks to aleini13. It took three tries over one day to get through 3rd down, 4th down and 10 pip rush. I would have been struggling for a long time to get this without your help. Thanks again.

mindykim78

thanks for sharing info on how to achieve 3rd down and 4th down. Just started silver 2 hopefully I will be able to achieve!

clint

Someone else shared this tip but I think it's worth repeating. It's better to take a small loss than a small win since the small loss will most likely "flush" a bigger loss out of your list of losses being used for the average loss formula. For example, if the first trade of your previous 20 trades is a large loss then take a small loss and it will flush out that first trade large loss.

ppiggybbannk

to acheive the 25/5 5/5 would been so much easier if the one click trading set up stop and limit orders ....I asked before but no reply ..were is the Apiary Fund Aleo expert ....now I am close to finish Silver 2 ...but Emottag has me stumped ....I am supposed to write in my emotion at the time of trading ....I have pressed every button ....I can not do it ...no instruction how???

ppiggybbannk

Yes I found it ...in the help section ..got my answer ..but it looks like pending order can not be one clicked ..MT4 can .. why is it a good thing? ... OK you set up 10 times 10 pip stop with 10 or 20 target ...and you follow price by draging the pending order behind ....so imagine you see a valid signal to sell ....instead of going in on a live trade you are waiting for a reversal bar .. a close higher or lower then the last bars range .....so just keep dsging the pending order above or below the closed bars range ..we can do it manuelly punching in all the prices but with a pip stop gap it would great when we are on the out to work and stuff....

I read that under the contitions no loss exceeding 20 pips for the month or be penalised one month before progressing to silver 3 ....most of you will know this but some are going to find out the hard way .. the broker spead is included ...therefore if the spread is 2 pips 18 is the maximium stop you can use .. I limited it to 16 pips to be safe .....

Looking forward to trying this in the morning. Thanks everyone.

Thanks for sharing strategy on how to achieve 3rd down and 4th down. Worked flawlessly!
