Curious for those that trade both the London open and NY (especially if you live MT or PT) how you manage your sleep cycles.

The Power of Emotional Intelligence | Travis Bradberry | TEDxUCIrvine

Why do people with average IQs outperform those with the highest IQs 70% of the time? It all comes down to emotional intelligence. And unlike IQ, emotional intelligence is a choice and a discipline, not an innate quality bestowed upon the lucky. In this powerful and entertaining talk, Dr. Travis Bradberry, co-author of Emotional Intelligence 2.0, shows you how to use this critical skill to your advantage.
Three silver bullets to improve EQ.
1. An attitude of Gratitude.
2. Clean up your Sleep Hygiene (this I'm thinking is one of the most understood aspects of western civilation)
3. Get caffeine intake under control...LOL
"3. Get caffeine intake under control...LOL"
LOL I might skip this one!
Rookie, I also experience that curve coding and extending sleep deprivation.
Managing my sleep cycles. I wish! It's usually the other way around, and my sleep cycles basically manage me.
I find that my sleep cycle varies over a period of a few days, and every few days I'm awake enough to trade the London open, but the New York open is hopeless. However, in a few days, New York will be fine and for London - I'm out cold.
As an afterthought, I can home in on one session, because I did manage to trade the London open for a few months recently. It took me over 3 months to get to the point where I could just function properly and not feel like I'd been kissed by a bus. After about 5 months it wasn't hard at all. Now, I usually wake up around midnight for awhile, and as I plan on returning to the London open soon, it should be a lot easier. Well, I hope it is...
Good Luck!
