Trade Plan and keeping records

I think I took too long in my Silver level. I noticed that I had more gains trading short term, less than an hour than on a longer time frame. But it's difficult for me to make a trading plan if it's the trade is for just an hour or less than an hour. 

I was hoping for the apiary community for advice or share how they make their trading plans short term- day trading and even position trading (longer term.) A sample process of how other traders would do it would be helpful. Trading plan, post trade analysis and record keeping. Thanks everyone.
